Martha Moreno, M.S., LMFT

Martha Moreno is a Board Certified Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She studied Psychology at Universidad de los Andes. Graduated from Florida International University, and earned her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Thomas University.

Mrs. Moreno has been in private practice for more than 20 years. She has substantial clinical experience working with individuals, couples and families with diverse socio-economic backgrounds and multicultural experiences.

Upon completing her training at Family Life Center of Florida she worked at Charter Hospital of Miami where she did extensive work with depression, trauma, loss and grief, domestic violence, addiction and crisis intervention. Following her work at Charter Hospital of Miami, she worked at the Agoraphobia Resource Center where she specialized in anxiety disorders, panic disorder and phobias. Mrs. Moreno then continued building her experience at the Anorexia-Bulimia Resource Center in the treatment of eating disorders.

In 2002 she joined Coral Gables Counseling Center where she began her work in private practice.
