Let’s be smart
Let’s be mindful
Let’s be calm. Breathe.
As we navigate through these unchartered waters with COVID-19, our anxiety is escalating and the energy around us is of panic and uncertainty.
I am compelled to remind ourselves and every one of the obvious.
Let us focus on what is in our hands to do to protect ourselves and our loved ones. Rather than feeding anxiety, focus on prudence and precautions, washing hands, and social distancing.
Let us show our children how to deal with crisis in the best way possible.
Let us be conscious of how we can contribute to making things better. Look around you, to elderly neighbors, to friends, and family to help in preparing for a quarantine plan.
Let us pray for those who have been affected by COVID-19.
Let us be grateful for all the healthcare providers and workers who work day and night to be prepared to be able to help us all.
From all the difficult moments in our lives, we can learn and grow. This is a moment in time that is an opportunity to reset— to create change, to unite this planet, to make this world a better place.
Be conscious of your influence in social media, in family relationships, in how you show up in this world at this time and all the time. We are all important. Let us set the intention to rise.
As Sister Carmen stated, “ This too shall pass, and through it all, we learn unforgettable lessons on faith, ingenuity, resilience, and compassion.”
We are available for phone therapy, crisis intervention, and anything you may need regarding mental health.
We are here for you.
In health and love,
