As a Life and Health Coach one of the frequently asked questions is if the work I do with men and women is different. The answer is yes and no.
It’s different in the foods I may recommend.
It’s different in the exercises I may recommend.
It’s different in the manner I may coach them.
It’s different in the topics I may choose to coach them.
It’s different in the action items I may give them.
But –
It’s the same when it comes to emotional eating.
It’s the same when it comes to overeating.
It’s the same when it comes to breaking bad habits.
It’s the same when I coach them on mindset around life, health and wellness.
Yes, it’s about cleaning up the menu.
Yes, it’s about exercising (or movement).
Yes, it’s about not overeating.
But – I begin with
why they’re sitting in front of me.
why they’re not happy with the way they look.
why they’re not satisfied with the way they feel.
why they’re not happy with their life today.
Because, if we don’t sit with our WHY with our DISSATISFACTION with our UNHAPPINESS with our FEELINGS to first understand them know where they’re coming from why we have them Long lasting CHANGE won’t happen.
Yes, there will be short-term CHANGE
But – eventually you will be back to
sitting in front of me.
not happy with the way you look.
not satisfied with the way you feel.
not happy with your life today.
