Individual Therapy

Why individual therapy?

People seek out therapy for a variety of reasons. Major life changes or transitions often make people feel overwhelmed, depressed and/or anxious. Issues surrounding divorce, relationships, jobs, careers, addictions, and practically anything unexpected that occurs in life can be managed with the help of a professional.

There are people who seek therapy because they have identified specific goals or issues that they wish to work on. Whatever the impetus, it takes courage to attend therapy, and it takes dedication to see it through.

You can be assured that your therapy will take place
in a safe and trustworthy environment.

You can expect to be treated with respect, care and compassion. Our entire staff is dedicated to making every client feel comfortable. You can expect that your therapist is trained and knowledgeable in the area(s) that you are seeking help in. Together, you and your therapist will determine the goals of therapy and what you are willing to work on. In many cases the therapist and client will explore much more than just the client’s presenting problem, however, the foundation of the therapeutic relationship is trust and safety.

Many clients report that therapy has helped them not only with the issues they came in with but has given them the confidence to face and resolve their problems. In many cases, clients report improved emotional stability. They are better able to view situations from a different perspective. They learn to apply new skills to improve their lives. Better yet, they now see and make choices where they once couldn’t.
