After recording the first Eating Disorder podcast with Lisa Jimenez, LMHC, our in house eating disorder expert, we realized we needed to prepare a part 2 episode regarding treatment. For this one, in addition to Lisa, we have brought in Terina Lopez, LMHC, another eating disorder expert. Both Terina and Lisa have extensive experience working with the eating disorder community. Although this episode is regarding treatment, we started it off by answering questions that were sent to us by our community.
They go in depth on emotional eating, dysmorphia, clinical work, and seeing a therapist. They also discuss ways to help family or friends that may be suffering from an eating disorder, treatment and the various levels of care.
