Pregnancy is arguably one of the most transformative journeys a woman may experience in her life but for many, the idea of labor and delivery is too often associated with the terms pain and fear.
What if instead, you could approach your baby’s entry into this world with a sense of calm, confidence, and even joy?
That’s the vision behind my 6-Session Prenatal Program, designed to integrate the wisdom of yoga with the power of deep relaxation and hypnosis. Through this program I have integrated the practices of yoga and hypnosis to create a powerful foundation to empower women into taking control of their birthing experience by reducing fear and increasing comfort.
When I embarked on the journey of giving birth to my first child, I sought out every Lamaze class I could find in preparation. When the day came, it was the tools I have learned through implementing hypnosis and yoga into my therapeutic practice that actually helped me through the labor contractions and fear surrounding the uncertainty of what and how I was to give birth.

I, like many others, had a birth plan that itemized down to the last detail what I expected for my labor and delivery journey. And as things go when we make plans, I had to quickly abandon my plan and adapt to the rapid changes of the day.
I remember going in to my labor and delivery feeling confident and excited, only to quickly discover a growing fear and feeling of uncertainty of what to expect. Unfortunately, my Lamaze breathing exercises also went out the window with my birth plan (a sheet of paper that never made it out of my hospital overnight bag).
It was then, as the fear crept in and the contractions intensified, I remembered my yogic breathing exercises and tools learned through hypnosis that brought me the strength I needed to adapt to the quickly changing circumstances surrounding my own labor and delivery. Thus, birthing my prenatal program (pun intended).
Why Yoga During Pregnancy?
Prenatal yoga is far more than gentle stretching. It’s about creating space in the body, cultivating awareness, and preparing physically and emotionally for labor. Specific poses that I have incorporated into the program focus on creating space in the lower body, hips, and pelvis, to encourage strength and stabilization in the core and ultimately, promote labor endurance.
Another powerful tool that helps mothers stay centered in every stage of labor is a focus on breath awareness. Breath awareness and intentional postures allow for alleviation of common discomforts such as back pain, swelling, and fatigue during delivery and contractions.
Finally, the use of different yogic positions will promote a connection between mind and body resulting in the most important aspect of labor and delivery: the bonding between mom and baby. I teach my clients how to create a nurturing and mindful environment that they can then recreate when the time comes, whether that be at home or hospital.
Why Hypnosis for Birth?
Hypnosis is a natural state of focused awareness that we go in and out of every day. In childbirth, it will be used as a tool to reduce fear and anxious feelings surrounding labor and delivery while empowering women to recognize their strength and capability.
In trance, I will teach you how to relax the mind and build trust in your body’s wisdom while it instinctively goes through the process of labor. Our goal while working together will be to transform the labor and delivery process into one of self-confidence and even a sacred experience.
Through hypnosis I will provide tools for self-soothing, so you can remain centered no matter what your birth journey looks like. I will also offer the option of recording the hypnotic portion of the session for future use and self-practice.
In my 6-Session Program each session will combine
- a gentle prenatal yoga flow designed to support a changing body and preparation for birth
- guided hypnosis journeys to release fear
- connect deeply with your baby, and
- anchor inner strength.
Included will be practical tools and rituals to use during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum recovery. This program isn’t just about preparing for childbirth, it’s about creating a foundation of calm, strength, and connection that supports you and your baby well beyond delivery day.
Giving birth should not be something we have to endure; it should be something we embrace and feel empowered by.
When integrating yoga and hypnosis, mothers discover they can meet labor not with fear, but with trust, peace, and confidence.
This is your birth, your baby, and your experience and you deserve to step into it feeling safe, supported, and fearless.
