Dr. Cristina Anderson is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Psychologist, who specializes in treating children, adolescents, adults, and families with emotional, behavioral, and relational difficulties. Her doctorate degree was earned from Nova Southeastern University, College of Psychology. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at The Lourie Center for Children’s Social & Emotional Wellness in Rockville, Maryland and her pre-doctoral internship at the Institute for Child & Family Health in Miami, FL as part of the Infant Mental Health program. In these settings, she specialized in early childhood mental health, where focus was provided to the many needs of the child, including healthy development, family relationships, and social and academic support. Dr. Anderson’s passion for her work is driven by her recognition of the importance of our early development and relationships. Using empathic, supportive and collaborative care, Dr. Anderson works with individuals and families to help develop stronger relationships, social skills and coping tools in order to confront life’s challenges.
