Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck can make even the next small step feel impossible. Natalie Peña understands how disorienting that can be — and her work begins there, meeting clients where they actually are.
She works with teens, young adults, and adults moving through anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, grief, low self-esteem, or major life transitions. In session, she creates space to slow down and look honestly at what’s underneath the distress — to untangle the patterns that keep someone stuck and build tools that hold up outside the room.
Her primary approach is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) — an evidence-based method that helps the brain process the unresolved experiences underneath anxiety, negative beliefs, and emotional reactivity. She also integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Existential approaches, and Solution-Focused strategies, tailoring her work to each client and always moving at their pace.
Natalie earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami. She brings both her academic training and a deep connection to the South Florida community she serves.
With warmth, curiosity, and evidence-based care, Natalie helps clients understand themselves more clearly, reconnect with their own strengths, and move toward the life they want to live.
