Neida Fernández, LMFT

When life feels overwhelming—whether you’re navigating family conflict, healing from trauma, or trying to make sense of painful patterns—you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

Working with Neida Fernández means having a compassionate guide who helps you see the bigger picture: not just what you’re going through, but how your relationships, family dynamics, and life experiences all connect. Her approach is rooted in a systemic and relational framework, which means your story is never looked at in isolation—you are understood within the context of your life.

Neida brings both professional expertise and deep personal understanding to her work. As a mother of six, she has firsthand experience with blended families, divorce, and generational challenges. This allows her to meet you with genuine empathy while helping you untangle patterns that may feel stuck or overwhelming.

With a background in trauma-informed care and years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults, Neida helps you build clarity, resilience, and healthier ways of relating—to yourself and to others. Whether you’re working through grief, family conflict, or past trauma, she creates a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood.

She offers therapy in both English and Spanish and also serves as a facilitator for the Coral Gables Counseling Center Grief Group, where she supports individuals as they process loss and begin to find meaning and connection again.

Together, the goal is simple: to help you move from feeling overwhelmed and disconnected to feeling more grounded, supported, and empowered in your life and relationships.
