Verónica Lucía Sánchez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She obtained her Bachelors degree at the University of Florida and her Masters degree at Barry University. Her early training was working with traumatic cases of domestic violence with adults and children.

Before offering her services in private practice, Mrs. Sánchez worked for Kristi House, a non-profit in Miami where she gained a great deal of experience in working with sexually abused children and adolescents. There she facilitated individual and group trauma resolution therapy.

She is currently employed by Nicklaus Children’s Hospital where she works closely with families of diverse cultures providing crisis intervention. Her area of expertise is children, adolescents, young adults and their families, as well as individual adults. Some of her specialties include: family dynamics stressors, anger management, behavioral problems, self-esteem issues, traumas, PTSD, relationship issues, LGBTQ, infertility, anxiety and depression. She implements different therapeutic techniques according to her clients’ needs.

Mrs. Sánchez is looking forward to working with you to help you find your strengths and achieve your self-enhancing goals. She is bilingual and can offer therapy sessions in both English and Spanish.
